The color is of cut hay on a dry autumn day. The nose is floral & fruity, with strong citrus notes, and deeper hints of minerality. This wine is full bodied for a white, as expected of Viognier, but is does not have the cloying quality that makes some Viognier less than approachable. Instead its underlying minerality and zesty citrus flavors perfectly balance the more typically Viognier notes of stone fruits, honey, and acacia. The finish is clean and lingering, with orange zest, stone, and white floral notes in the lead. 100% Viognier. Sustainable.
