The color is dark ruby, with a garnet edge. The nose is delicate, with currant & black plum, caramel & spice. It is light on the mouth, peppery with dark fruit, bracing acids & structured tannins. The finish is long on white pepper, star anise, sandlewood, & cassis. A new favorite for me, Judith Beck a winemaker to watch. I expect we will see many more of her wines in the shop in the coming years. Biodynamic.
