Tim’s passion for wine began thirty years ago while he was working at the Officers’ Club for US Army Central Command in Heidelberg, Germany. Tim credits his time in Germany as the turning point in his life. Not only did it instill in him a love of fine food and wine, it also taught him hard work and a strong regard for the importance of true service.
After leaving Germany, Tim spent time in London before returning to his native Chicago, where he spent the next 18 years working in the wine and hospitality industries. In 2005 he moved to Oregon to become the Director of Operations for Oregon Wine Services, then a small wine storage & logistics company with 34 clients and 68,000 cases under its roof. Eleven years later, Tim had become the GM & Vice President of OWS, which now works with 250 wineries and stores 1.5 million cases.
Drew spent the formative years of his winemaking career at Domaine Serene and Shea Wine Cellars where he worked with some of the best vineyard sites in the Willamette Valley. In addition to making wine for Mac Wine Cellars, Drew also consults for a number of other wineries in the Willamette Valley and produces wine under his own label, Harper Voit. Drew believes in seeking out great vineyard sites, beautifully farmed fruit, and long-term relationships with growers.
